Norfolk Island Health and Residential Aged Care Service

The Norfolk Island Health and Residential Aged Care Service (NIHRACS) is the first line health service provider for the residents and visitors of Norfolk Island. Norfolk Island has a community of approximately 1,400 people on Island at any one time and is located about 1,600km north east of Sydney.

The Nor­folk Island Health and Res­i­den­tial Aged Care Ser­vice (NIHRACS) is the first line health ser­vice provider for the res­i­dents and vis­i­tors of Nor­folk Island. Nor­folk Island has a com­mu­ni­ty of approx­i­mate­ly 1,400 peo­ple on Island at any one time and is locat­ed about 1,600km north east of Syd­ney. NIHRACS is a mul­ti-pur­pose ser­vice which includes a Gen­er­al Prac­tice Clin­ic, Out­pa­tients, Emer­gency Ser­vice, Acute Beds and Res­i­den­tial Aged Care. The ser­vice works very close­ly with the Com­mu­ni­ty to pro­vide com­pas­sion­ate care.
