New CRANAplus Fel­lows announced every year
Every year, at the CRANAplus con­fer­ence, new CRANAplus Fel­lows are pre­sent­ed to Mem­bers and del­e­gates. This moment cel­e­brates those who have shown excep­tion­al lead­er­ship in remote and rur­al health prac­tices. But how do they get there?

What does it take to become a CRANAplus Fel­low?
Becom­ing a CRANAplus Fel­low is more than just a title – it is an hon­our that recog­nis­es Mem­bers who are lead­ers in their area of influ­ence and show com­mit­ment to their own devel­op­ment and excellence.

They pro­vide sup­port and lead­er­ship with­in the sec­tor and cham­pi­on CRANAplus and its work in the sec­tor. Could you be one of them?

Path­ways to becom­ing a CRANAplus Fel­low
There are a range of path­ways to becom­ing a CRANAplus Fel­low. Essen­tial­ly, poten­tial Fel­lows can nom­i­nate them­selves or be nom­i­nat­ed by peers.

Evi­dence is pre­sent­ed to the CRANAplus Board for con­sid­er­a­tion to demon­strate the nominee’s lead­er­ship, influ­ence and com­mit­ment to two or more of the fol­low­ing areas of remote and iso­lat­ed health prac­tice: com­mu­ni­ty, clin­i­cal, man­age­ment, research, teach­ing, qual­i­ty, cul­tur­al or pro­fes­sion­al con­tri­bu­tion.

Oth­ers are offered an appoint­ment as a CRANAplus Fel­low by the CRANAplus Board in recog­ni­tion of obtain­ing a PhD in a relat­ed field or receiv­ing the pres­ti­gious Auro­ra Award.

CRANAplus offers a range of oppor­tu­ni­ties for remote health pro­fes­sion­als to devel­op and demon­strate their grow­ing lead­er­ship to sup­port becom­ing CRANAplus Fel­lows.

These include the LINKS Men­tor­ing Pro­gram, becom­ing a CRANAplus course facil­i­ta­tor, engag­ing with CRANAplus advo­ca­cy, rep­re­sent­ing your state or ter­ri­to­ry on the CRANAplus Mem­bers Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Round­table and more.
