We conduct and support research into the workforce and delivery of health care in rural and remote Australia
CRANAplus is committed to research through collaborative partnerships, actively supporting external research projects of interest and facilitating access to current research impacting best practice. We also commission research of our own on issues of relevance to the remote health workforce.
We have a research sub-committee, comprising of CRANAplus fellows, external representatives and CRANAplus Professional Services staff, which:
Contributes to the development of a CRANAplus Research policy
Seeks opportunities to support research in the interests of CRANAplus
Seeks opportunities to engage in collaborative research projects in the interest of CRANAplus
Supports the development of evidence-based remote health practice
Assesses requests for CRANAplus support of research projects/proposals
Investigates the feasibility of a remote research clearinghouse
Identifies research gaps and provides advice regarding research opportunities
This page aims to provide an online resource to inform practice and policy by making research and knowledge readily accessible. Please find below links to research conducted in the context of remote and isolated practice in the Australian and international setting.
