SARC Education and Training – WA

The Sexual Assault Resource Centre offer a range of education opportunities for professionals, volunteers and students in Western Australia, including e-learning packages, online and face-to-face presentations and face-to-face workshops. E-learning packages include ‘Sexual Assault and Responding to Disclosures’ (available to all) and ‘Non-fatal Strangulation’ (available by email request to people in relevant roles). 1 hour video conferences are also offered throughout the year to provide an update of the effective management of an adolescent or adult patient who presents to a regional Emergency Department following a sexual assault.
