Take the next step in your nurs­ing career at Port Lin­coln Hos­pi­tal. We’re seek­ing a com­pas­sion­ate and ded­i­cat­ed Asso­ciate Nurse Unit Man­ag­er (ANUM) to join our Eyre Ward B team. In this dynam­ic lead­er­ship role, you’ll guide and sup­port a diverse team, enhance patient care, and con­tribute to con­tin­u­ous improve­ment with­in a vibrant and sup­port­ive environment.

Key Respon­si­bil­i­ties: As an ANUM, you will work close­ly with the Nurse Unit Man­ag­er to ensure the deliv­ery of high-qual­i­ty care across the ward. You’ll assist with lead­er­ship duties, including:

  • Coor­di­nat­ing dai­ly oper­a­tions and ensur­ing con­ti­nu­ity of care
  • Imple­ment­ing prac­tice changes and man­ag­ing staffing, ros­ter­ing, and leave
  • Men­tor­ing and devel­op­ing staff, includ­ing stu­dents and less expe­ri­enced nurses
  • Man­ag­ing per­for­mance process­es and sup­port­ing team mem­bers in their pro­fes­sion­al growth

What We’re Look­ing For:

  • Cur­rent reg­is­tra­tion as a Nurse or Nurse/​Midwife with the Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Australia
  • At least 3 years post-reg­is­tra­tion expe­ri­ence, or clas­si­fied as a Clin­i­cal Nurse/​Midwife
  • Strong com­mu­ni­ca­tion, prob­lem-solv­ing, and team col­lab­o­ra­tion skills
  • Proven abil­i­ty to man­age work­load inde­pen­dent­ly and meet deadlines
  • Expe­ri­ence in staff super­vi­sion and knowl­edge of health­care leg­is­la­tion and qual­i­ty improve­ment systems
