About the Role
The Administration, Logistics and Equipment Officer delivers high-quality, responsive support across administrative, equipment management, and logistics functions.
This role plays a critical part in enabling the education team to operate efficiently and effectively, ensuring seamless coordination and resource availability to uphold CRANAplus’s commitment to excellence in healthcare education.
Initial key focus areas include:- Schedule and confirm freight bookings for equipment and resources to be delivered Australia wide and arrive in alignment with course delivery timelines.
- Coordinate the distribution of CRANAplus-branded items to facilitators, including uniforms, backpacks, and other relevant materials.
- Assemble complete sets of equipment and administrative materials for education courses.
- Identify restocking requirements, complete documentation, and investigate any equipment faults or issues.
- Purchase consumables, equipment, and resources from various suppliers — both online and in-person — to support requirements for learning experiences.
- Ensure all equipment and consumables stored in the warehouse are secure, well-organised, and in working condition for deployment.
- Maintain clear and transparent procedures for dispatching and receiving course equipment, and communicate these processes within the warehouse team.
What we are looking for:
- Certificate IV in Business Administration (or equivalent)
- 3 – 5 years of demonstrated experience in office administration or a comparable professional setting.
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a proactive approach to workload management.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, solve problems, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills & ability to engage effectively with a variety of people
- Demonstrated experience working with computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office
Desirable:
- Experience working in a health/medical organisation or completion of a medical terminology course.
- Experience working in logistics, with freight or freight companies.
This role involves the manual handling of various education equipment sets, so you will need to be comfortable using trolleys and other manual handling supports.
