Key Respon­si­bil­i­ties:

• Deliv­er com­pre­hen­sive nurs­ing care in accor­dance with indi­vid­ual care plans.
• Mon­i­tor and assess res­i­dents’ health, mak­ing nec­es­sary adjust­ments to care plans.
• Admin­is­ter med­ica­tions and treat­ments as prescribed.
• Col­lab­o­rate with oth­er health­care pro­fes­sion­als to ensure holis­tic care.
• Main­tain accu­rate and up-to-date med­ical records.
• Pro­vide sup­port and edu­ca­tion to res­i­dents and their families.

Require­ments:

• Cur­rent Reg­is­tra­tion with the Aus­tralian Health Prac­ti­tion­er Reg­u­la­tion Agency (AHPRA).
• Min­i­mum of 12 months’ expe­ri­ence in res­i­den­tial aged care
• Strong clin­i­cal skills with the abil­i­ty to man­age com­plex health needs.
• Excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­tion and inter­per­son­al skills.
• Empa­thy and a gen­uine pas­sion for work­ing with elder­ly individuals.
• Abil­i­ty to work effec­tive­ly both inde­pen­dent­ly and as part of a team.
• Flex­i­bil­i­ty to work var­i­ous shifts, includ­ing week­ends and pub­lic holidays.
