We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Officer to join our Adelaide office. Reporting to the General Manager for Corporate Services, this role provides critical administrative, governance, and project coordination support to the CEO, Board, and Executive Leadership Team.

You’ll be a key driver in ensuring smooth operations, supporting high-level decision making, and leading the coordination of CRANAplus’ flagship events, including the Annual Conference and AGM.

About the Role

We are seek­ing a high­ly organ­ised and proac­tive Busi­ness Sup­port Offi­cer to join our Ade­laide office. Report­ing to the Gen­er­al Man­ag­er for Cor­po­rate Ser­vices, this role pro­vides crit­i­cal admin­is­tra­tive, gov­er­nance, and project coor­di­na­tion sup­port to the CEO, Board, and Exec­u­tive Lead­er­ship Team.

You’ll be a key dri­ver in ensur­ing smooth oper­a­tions, sup­port­ing high-lev­el deci­sion mak­ing, and lead­ing the coor­di­na­tion of CRANAplus’ flag­ship events, includ­ing the Annu­al Con­fer­ence and AGM.

Key respon­si­bil­i­ties include:

  • Pro­vide high-qual­i­ty exec­u­tive sup­port, includ­ing diary man­age­ment, cor­re­spon­dence, trav­el book­ings, and meet­ing coordination.
  • Over­see day-to-day Ade­laide office oper­a­tions, sup­port­ing staff and visitors.
  • Deliv­er sec­re­tari­at ser­vices for Board and Exec­u­tive meet­ings, includ­ing agen­das, min­utes, and action follow-up.
  • Act as Project Lead for major organ­i­sa­tion­al events, includ­ing the Annu­al Conference.
  • Coor­di­nate Depart­ment of Health and Aged Care report­ing requirements.
  • Uphold con­fi­den­tial­i­ty, pro­fes­sion­al­ism, and CRANAplus val­ues in all interactions.

What we’re look­ing for:

  • Min­i­mum 3 years’ expe­ri­ence in a sim­i­lar busi­ness sup­port or exec­u­tive assis­tant role.
  • Strong organ­i­sa­tion­al and admin­is­tra­tive skills with the abil­i­ty to pri­ori­tise com­pet­ing tasks.
  • Excel­lent writ­ten and ver­bal com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills.
  • High pro­fi­cien­cy with Microsoft Office, data­bas­es, and oth­er platforms.
  • Expe­ri­ence in project coor­di­na­tion or event management.
  • A proac­tive, solu­tions-focused approach with strong initiative.
  • Cer­tifi­cate, Diplo­ma, or degree in Busi­ness or a relat­ed discipline.
  • Cur­rent Driver’s Licence

Desirable:

Project man­age­ment qual­i­fi­ca­tions with expe­ri­ence coor­di­nat­ing large events and/​or high-lev­el gov­ern­ment reporting.
