Join SA Health as a Part-time Can­cer Care Coor­di­na­tor at Port Lin­coln Hos­pi­tal, where you will make a mean­ing­ful dif­fer­ence in can­cer patient care across the Eyre and West­ern region. This ongo­ing posi­tion offers the oppor­tu­ni­ty to lead clin­i­cal excel­lence whilst sup­port­ing the Direc­tor of Nursing/​Midwifery in deliv­er­ing excep­tion­al health­care services.

Key Respon­si­bil­i­ties

  • Coor­di­nate com­pre­hen­sive can­cer care ser­vices using evi­dence-based guide­lines and standards
  • Pro­vide man­age­ment sup­port for Chemother­a­py Unit oper­a­tions and services
  • Sup­port nurs­ing prac­tice through staffing method­olo­gies, recruit­ment, and human resource management
  • Man­age projects and research ini­tia­tives to improve patient out­comes and ser­vice delivery
  • Over­see finan­cial admin­is­tra­tion, patient flow, and resource management
  • Con­tribute to accred­i­ta­tion process­es, risk man­age­ment, and infor­ma­tion sys­tems management

You will accept account­abil­i­ty for nurs­ing man­age­ment prac­tices, address incon­sis­ten­cies between prac­tice and pol­i­cy, and fos­ter a safe, pos­i­tive work cul­ture that pri­ori­tis­es patient outcomes.

Essen­tial Requirements

  • Reg­is­tered Nurse with cur­rent prac­tic­ing cer­tifi­cate through Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Australia
  • Cur­rent Anti­neo­plas­tic Drug Admin­is­tra­tion cer­ti­fi­ca­tion preferred
  • Clin­i­cal knowl­edge and expe­ri­ence in can­cer care coordination
  • Strong lead­er­ship and project man­age­ment capabilities
