Salary : RN Lev­el 2 $104,903 — $110,752 p.a. pro rata

This is for a Per­ma­nent or Fixed Term Part Time appoint­ment at up to 45 hours per fort­night, with the pos­si­bil­i­ty of extension(s) and/​or per­ma­nen­cy. Casu­al appoint­ments may also be considered.

To be suc­cess­ful, you will have...

• Pos­ses­sion of or sub­stan­tial progress towards the attain­ment of a cer­tifi­cate, diplo­ma or mas­ters in Child and Com­mu­ni­ty Health Nurs­ing (or equiv­a­lent) through an accred­it­ed institution.
• Expe­ri­ence and nurs­ing skills rel­e­vant to com­mu­ni­ty, school and child health.
• Knowl­edge and abil­i­ty to imple­ment health pro­mo­tion prin­ci­ples into clin­i­cal practice.
• Abil­i­ty to devel­op, imple­ment and eval­u­ate pri­ma­ry health programs.
• Effec­tive inter­per­son­al, writ­ten and ver­bal com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills and abil­i­ty to work inde­pen­dent­ly and as a mem­ber of a mul­ti-dis­ci­pli­nary team.

Posi­tion Profile:

Pro­vides clin­i­cal ser­vices as part of the core com­mu­ni­ty health pro­grams such as immu­ni­sa­tion, school health and child health. Respon­si­ble for pro­vid­ing qual­i­ty pri­ma­ry health ser­vices to the com­mu­ni­ty with­in their own lev­els of com­pe­ten­cy to meet planned health out­comes.
