Our Coober Pedy ser­vice oper­ates Mon­day to Fri­day, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, deliv­er­ing high-qual­i­ty nurs­ing care in both our clin­ic and patients’ homes.

As part of your role, you’ll pro­vide nurs­ing ser­vices including:

  • Wound and CVAD management
  • Uri­nary catheter and stoma care
  • Bax­ter infu­sions and med­ica­tion administration
  • Post-acute and aged care support

You’ll also be part of a sup­port­ive, mul­ti-dis­ci­pli­nary team, work­ing along­side spe­cial­ist nurs­es in areas such as dia­betes, can­cer care, stoma man­age­ment, pal­lia­tive care, com­mu­ni­ty aged care, and NDIS support.

Key Respon­si­bil­i­ties:

  • Pro­vide direct per­son-cen­tred nurs­ing care and advanced clin­i­cal nurs­ing ser­vices to patients in a vari­ety of com­mu­ni­ty health settings.
  • Take account­abil­i­ty for per­son­al prac­tice stan­dards, del­e­gat­ing tasks to oth­ers and fos­ter­ing development.
  • Sup­port the devel­op­ment of nurs­ing prac­tice by guid­ing less expe­ri­enced staff and students.
  • Col­lab­o­rate with mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary teams to deliv­er the best care outcomes.
  • Man­age and pri­ori­tise your work­load effec­tive­ly to meet care deliv­ery goals.
  • Con­tribute to qual­i­ty improve­ment ini­tia­tives, ensur­ing patient safe­ty and opti­mal care standards.

What We’re Look­ing For:

  • Reg­is­tered Nurse with at least 3 years of post-reg­is­tra­tion experience 
  • Abil­i­ty to lead, sup­port, and men­tor oth­er nurs­ing staff, includ­ing stu­dents and enrolled nurses.
  • Strong com­mu­ni­ca­tion, prob­lem-solv­ing, and con­flict-res­o­lu­tion skills, with the abil­i­ty to be cre­ative, inno­v­a­tive and flex­i­ble when approach­ing issues with­in the clin­i­cal setting.
  • Abil­i­ty to work inde­pen­dent­ly, pri­ori­tis­ing care while meet­ing deadlines.
  • Sol­id wound care knowl­edge with a broad under­stand­ing of wound care dress­ings and the heal­ing process.
  • Knowl­edge of con­tem­po­rary health­care issues and qual­i­ty improve­ment systems.
