Key Respon­si­bil­i­ties:

• Deliv­er evi­dence-based nurs­ing care to patients with com­plex men­tal health needs
• Mon­i­tor and man­age med­ica­tion admin­is­tra­tion and documentation
• Col­lab­o­rate close­ly with a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team to sup­port recov­ery goals
• Main­tain safe­ty and secu­ri­ty pro­to­cols con­sis­tent with cor­rec­tion­al standards

About You:

•  Cur­rent AHPRA reg­is­tra­tion as an RN
•  Post Grad­u­at­ed Cer­tifi­cate in Men­tal Health
•  Pri­or expe­ri­ence in men­tal health or cor­rec­tion­al set­tings (pre­ferred but not essential)
•  Strong inter­per­son­al and com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills
•  Expe­ri­ence (or desire to work) with­in a cor­rec­tion­al health care setting
•  Demon­strat­ed resilience and abil­i­ty to work in chal­leng­ing environments
•  Com­mit­ment to eth­i­cal prac­tice and patient-cen­tred care
