The posi­tion ensures facil­i­ty com­pli­ance to the Aged Care Stan­dards sup­port­ed by a Nurse Unit Man­ag­er and Clin­i­cal Nurse Edu­ca­tor roles. The posi­tion reports to the Roma Facil­i­ty Direc­tor of Nurs­ing and will work col­lab­o­ra­tive­ly with the Roma Group Lead­ers to mon­i­tor and imple­ment Strate­gic Objec­tives and oper­a­tional plans to pro­vide effec­tive res­i­den­tial aged care ser­vices to the Roma com­mu­ni­ty and wider South West Hos­pi­tal andb Health Service.

Ser­vic­ing a catch­ment pop­u­la­tion of almost 14,000, West­haven is a small res­i­den­tial aged care facil­i­ty where care is pro­vid­ed in a fam­i­ly like envi­ron­ment with­in the broad­er Roma com­mu­ni­ty. A great place for fam­i­lies in a region tra­di­tion­al­ly rich with oil and gas and farm­ing indus­tries, Roma boasts and an abun­dance of sports, recre­ation and school­ing options. With annu­al events such as East­er in the Coun­try and the Roma Races, Roma is fast becom­ing renowned for its enthu­si­asm in bring­ing world class Fes­ti­vals and Events to the local area, show­cas­ing their com­mu­ni­ty spir­it; the same com­mu­ni­ty feel that makes Roma a career move you will wish you had made earlier.
