This role is per­fect for a strong leader with a pas­sion for aged care and a com­mit­ment to qual­i­ty ser­vice deliv­ery in region­al areas.

As the Direc­tor of Nurs­ing, you’ll be respon­si­ble for the clin­i­cal and oper­a­tional lead­er­ship of the facil­i­ty, ensur­ing high-qual­i­ty, per­son-cen­tred care in line with cur­rent aged care stan­dards. You’ll be sup­port­ed by an expe­ri­enced Nurse Unit Man­ag­er and Clin­i­cal Nurse Edu­ca­tor, and work close­ly with senior lead­ers to dri­ve strate­gic and oper­a­tional outcomes.

Key Respon­si­bil­i­ties:

• Over­see all aspects of clin­i­cal care and facil­i­ty management 
• Ensure com­pli­ance with Aged Care Qual­i­ty Standards 
• Lead and sup­port nurs­ing and care teams 
• Fos­ter a safe, inclu­sive, and cul­tur­al­ly sen­si­tive environment 
• Liaise with stake­hold­ers to improve aged care outcomes

About You:

• Reg­is­tered Nurse with cur­rent AHPRA registration 
• Strong lead­er­ship and aged care man­age­ment experience 
• In-depth knowl­edge of Aged Care Qual­i­ty Stan­dards and accred­i­ta­tion processes 
• Excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­tion and team man­age­ment skills 
• Com­mit­ment to rur­al health and ser­vice improvement
