Posi­tion Benefits

  • Com­pet­i­tive Remu­ner­a­tion Pack­age:
    • Base salary — $300,000,
    • Pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment allowance — $26,000.
    • Super­an­nu­a­tion at 16% of base salary 
    • Com­mut­ed On-call Allowance at 30% of base salary 
    • Dis­trict allowance of $9,000 – $19,000 per annum (sub­ject to sin­gle or dependents).
  • Excep­tion­al Leave Enti­tle­ments and Ben­e­fits:
    • Five weeks’ annu­al leave, three weeks’ per­son­al leave, and up to two weeks’ study leave annually.
    • Annu­al Leave Air­fares allowance for return flights to Perth, WA, for your­self and eli­gi­ble depen­dents each year of con­tin­u­ous service.
    • Sub­sidised Hous­ing and vehi­cle pro­vid­ed (nom­i­nal $4,000 annu­al deduction).
  • Work-Life Bal­ance:
    • 8:00 AM4:00 PM work­ing days with 20-minute patient appointments. 
    • Man­age­able case­load of approx­i­mate­ly 16 GP patients dai­ly, with pro­tect­ed on-call slots. 
    • Low-vol­ume 1‑in‑3 on-call Emer­gency Depart­ment (ED) ros­ter and a six-bed inpa­tient ward. 
    • Paid recov­ery time after busy nights ensures a healthy work-life balance. 
    • Prac­tice qual­i­ty, reflec­tive med­i­cine with­out the pres­sure of Medicare billing. 
  • Pro­fes­sion­al Growth: 
    • Work in an AGPAL-accred­it­ed GP surgery
    • Be part of an expe­ri­enced health­care team pro­vid­ing holis­tic pri­ma­ry health care 
    • Par­tic­i­pate in reg­u­lar in-ser­vice train­ing, team meet­ings, and men­tor med­ical students. 
    • Col­lab­o­rate with vis­it­ing spe­cial­ists and expand your remote health expertise

    • Work along­side expe­ri­enced ED and Com­mu­ni­ty nurs­es and a col­le­gial team in a sup­port­ive environment.

  • Eli­gi­bil­i­ty Requirements
    • Fel­low­ship with RACGP, ACR­RM, or equivalent. 
    • Recent expe­ri­ence in Emer­gency Med­i­cine and rural/​remote healthcare. 
    • Advanced life sup­port cer­ti­fi­ca­tions (ALS, APLS, EMST, or equivalent). 
    • Cur­rent reg­is­tra­tion with AHPRA with­out limitations. 
    • Aus­tralian cit­i­zen­ship or per­ma­nent res­i­den­cy of Aus­tralia  Class C driver’s license. 

Desir­able Skills

  • Appli­cants with expe­ri­ence or qual­i­fi­ca­tions in the fol­low­ing areas are high­ly regard­ed: Women’s Health, Anaes­thet­ics, Teach­ing, Advanced Emer­gency Med­i­cine may also influ­ence salary negotiations
  • Pro­fi­cien­cy in Malay or Chi­nese languages
