Posi­tion Overview

We are seek­ing a pas­sion­ate and ded­i­cat­ed Gen­er­al Prac­ti­tion­er to join our team in Bidyadan­ga on a full time basis. This role is locat­ed in Bidyadan­ga Com­mu­ni­ty, WA. You will pro­vide com­pre­hen­sive pri­ma­ry health care ser­vices that align with best prac­tise stan­dards, ensur­ing that every indi­vid­ual feels val­ued and respect­ed. Work­ing along­side a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team, you will con­tribute to the devel­op­ment and deliv­ery of high-qual­i­ty health ser­vices tai­lored to the unique needs of the community.

Your role will include sup­port­ing the edu­ca­tion and train­ing of the local health­care work­force, active­ly par­tic­i­pat­ing in health pro­gram ini­tia­tives, and ensur­ing that every patient receives cul­tur­al­ly safe and com­pe­tent care. Who You Are

As a can­di­date for this role, you are not just a physi­cian; you are a ded­i­cat­ed advo­cate for health equi­ty. You pos­sess the following:

  • Eli­gi­bil­i­ty for reg­is­tra­tion in WA with a min­i­mum of 5 years of expe­ri­ence in gen­er­al prac­tise or pri­ma­ry health care.
  • A strong com­mit­ment to Abo­rig­i­nal Com­mu­ni­ty Con­trol and cul­tur­al competency.
  • Expe­ri­ence in man­ag­ing emer­gen­cies in remote settings.
  • Excep­tion­al inter­per­son­al, oral, and writ­ten com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills.
  • A valid C” class driver’s licence
  • Fed­er­al Police Clear­ance and a Work­ing with Chil­dren Check.
  • Cur­rent GP Super­vi­sor accred­i­ta­tion or eli­gi­bil­i­ty to train for it.
