$250,000 to $260,000 per annum
Effective Salary
$300,431 to $311,415 per annum

About the role
The General Practitioner — Child Health (GP-CH) provides culturally safe GP services with a particular focus on the health of children who are clients of Congress. The General Practitioner will provide primary health care as a member of a multidisciplinary team at a dedicated child health assessment clinic for healthy children. The General Practitioner will at least do 5 sessions per week and will be able to work in the general clinic. The position works to the principles, values and philosophy of Congress as an Aboriginal community-controlled health service.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for GPs who can build strong, trusting relationships with both child patients and the community. If you have:
- Current AHPRA registration.
- RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship or significant experience in General Practice
- Relevant Child Health experience
- Commitment to integrating Aboriginal values in practice.
- Willingness for, and understanding of, remote area work; and
The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and bring exceptional clinical skills, a proactive adaptable attitude, and a genuine respect for diverse patient backgrounds, we want you!
