About the role

The Child Health Nurse pro­vides com­pre­hen­sive pri­ma­ry health care with a par­tic­u­lar focus on child health to pro­vide our babies and chil­dren the best start in life.

The posi­tion sits with­in the Child Health Engage­ment Team and works with a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team includ­ing GPs, Abo­rig­i­nal Health Prac­ti­tion­ers, Reg­is­tered Nurs­es, SEWB Prac­ti­tion­ers, Allied Health Pro­fes­sion­als, an Abo­rig­i­nal Liai­son Offi­cer, Care Coor­di­na­tor, Trans­port Offi­cer and Client
Ser­vice Officers.
