An amazing opportunity is available within the East Arnhem Population Primary Health Care team to work as part of a multidisciplinary health team and engage closely with other service providers.
As the Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) program on the four communities in the Groote Eylandt Archipelago, requiring close collaboration with the RHD unit in Darwin as well as agencies such as NT Cardiac.
You will work closely with the Remote Area Clinic staff including Remote Area Nurses, Clinic Managers and General Practitioners to provide a proactive and preventative approach to service delivery in this high priority program.
To be successful, you will have:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with endorsement as a nurse practitioner.
- Successfully completed an NMBA-approved Master’s program of study leading to endorsement as a nurse practitioner, or a program determined substantially equivalent by NMBA.
- A postgraduate qualification at Australian Qualifications Framework Level 8 in a relevant clinical field.
