Togeth­er in Mind is a col­lab­o­ra­tive peri­na­tal and infant men­tal health day pro­gram devel­oped by the Queens­land Cen­tre for Peri­na­tal and Infant Men­tal Health (QCPIMH) and fund­ed by the Depart­ment of Health. Togeth­er in Mind pro­vides psy­cho-edu­ca­tion and sup­port for women who have a diag­nosed mod­er­ate to severe men­tal ill­ness in the post­par­tum peri­od. The pro­gram is designed as an adjunct to com­mu­ni­ty men­tal health treat­ment and may also func­tion as a step up/​step down sup­port for women recent­ly dis­charged from inpa­tient men­tal health care. Togeth­er in Mind is col­lab­o­ra­tive­ly facil­i­tat­ed by clin­i­cal staff from adult men­tal health, child and youth men­tal health and child health ser­vices. Sup­port in imple­ment­ing the Togeth­er in Mind pro­gram is pro­vid­ed by the QCPIMH.
