This is a fan­tas­tic oppor­tu­ni­ty to join a com­mit­ted health­care team pro­vid­ing high-qual­i­ty care across both aged care and acute ser­vices in a sup­port­ive com­mu­ni­ty setting.

About the Role: Report­ing direct­ly to the Direc­tor of Nurs­ing, the Nurse Unit Man­ag­er will over­see a 15- bed mixed unit, includ­ing 8 aged care beds and 7 acute/​ED beds. You’ll be respon­si­ble for day-to-day oper­a­tions, work­force man­age­ment, clin­i­cal lead­er­ship, and ensur­ing the deliv­ery of safe, per­son- cen­tred care.

You will man­age and sup­port a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team that includes:

• Lev­el 1 & 2 Reg­is­tered Nurs­es / Midwives
• Enrolled Nurs­es
• Assis­tants in Nurs­ing / Midwifery
• Ancil­lary Sup­port Staff

Key Cri­te­ria:

• Cur­rent reg­is­tra­tion with AHPRA as a Reg­is­tered Nurse
• Min­i­mum 3 years’ post-reg­is­tra­tion experience
• Demon­strat­ed expe­ri­ence in nurs­ing lead­er­ship or man­age­ment roles
• Strong inter­per­son­al, com­mu­ni­ca­tion, and team-build­ing skills
• A com­mit­ment to excel­lence in patient care and staff development
• Knowl­edge of the South Aus­tralian Pub­lic Health Sys­tem (desired)
• Must be an Aus­tralian Cit­i­zen or have full work­ing rights in Australia
