Are you an experienced nursing leader ready to make a meaningful impact in cancer care? Port Lincoln Hospital is seeking a dedicated and innovative Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) – Cancer Services to lead and coordinate a dynamic team delivering high- quality, person-centred care to our community.

  • Eyre and Far North Local Health Net­work, Port Lin­coln Hospital
  • Salary: RN/M3 $125,183 to $130,779 p.a. (Pro-rata) + Super­an­nu­a­tion, Salary Sac­ri­fice Ben­e­fits and leave loading
  • Per­ma­nent Part Time posi­tion work­ing 20 hours per week

As NUM, you will:

  • Pro­vide clin­i­cal lead­er­ship, man­age­ment, and coor­di­na­tion of can­cer services.
  • Over­see a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team, ensur­ing safe, evi­dence-based, and com­pas­sion­ate care.
  • Dri­ve qual­i­ty improve­ment, resource man­age­ment, and staff development.
  • Fos­ter a sup­port­ive, inclu­sive, and cul­tur­al­ly safe envi­ron­ment for patients, fam­i­lies, and staff.
  • Col­lab­o­rate with health pro­fes­sion­als and com­mu­ni­ty part­ners to achieve the best outcomes.

About You

  • Reg­is­tered with the Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Australia.
  • Min­i­mum of 3 years’ post-reg­is­tra­tion expe­ri­ence, with proven lead­er­ship and man­age­ment skills.
  • Strong com­mu­ni­ca­tion, prob­lem-solv­ing, and team devel­op­ment abilities.
  • Knowl­edge of can­cer ser­vices and con­tem­po­rary nurs­ing prac­tice standards.
