  • Salary: RN/RM3 $125,183 — $130,779 p.a. (pro rata) + Super­an­nu­a­tion + leave Load­ing & Salary Sac­ri­fice Benefits
  • Ongo­ing full time (tem­po­rary con­tract can be negotiated)
  • Flex­i­ble work­ing hours can be nego­ti­at­ed, ros­ter will be Mon­day to Friday
  • Accom­mo­da­tion can be arranged if required

At Ham­mill House, part of Port Pirie Region­al Health Ser­vice, we’re seek­ing a dynam­ic Nurse Unit Man­ag­er – Aged Care to cham­pi­on qual­i­ty care and lead a pas­sion­ate mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team. As the piv­otal leader with­in our res­i­den­tial aged care team, you’ll dri­ve excel­lence in clin­i­cal care, man­age resources effec­tive­ly, and embed a cul­ture of safe­ty, com­pas­sion and con­tin­u­ous improve­ment — all aligned with the Aged Care Qual­i­ty Stan­dards.

Key Respon­si­bil­i­ties

  • Lead, men­tor and devel­op a high-per­form­ing team
  • Over­see clin­i­cal care deliv­ery, doc­u­men­ta­tion and risk management
  • Dri­ve qual­i­ty improve­ment, safe­ty, and compliance
  • Fos­ter col­lab­o­ra­tion across inter­nal teams and exter­nal partners
  • Cham­pi­on con­sumer engage­ment and fam­i­ly-cen­tred care
  • Man­age resources, recruit­ment, ros­ter­ing and staff development

What We’re Look­ing For

  • Reg­is­tered or eli­gi­ble for reg­is­tra­tion as a Nurse with the Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Aus­tralia and who holds, or who is eli­gi­ble to hold, a cur­rent prac­tic­ing certificate. 
  • At least 3 years’ post-reg­is­tra­tion nurs­ing experience
  • Strong lead­er­ship, com­mu­ni­ca­tion and prob­lem-solv­ing skills
  • Proven expe­ri­ence in aged care and team supervision
  • Knowl­edge of aged care leg­is­la­tion, stan­dards and reporting
  • Tech-savvy with sys­tems like LeeCare and Microsoft Office
