Overview

We have an excel­lent oppor­tu­ni­ty for an Enrolled Nurse to join the Out­pa­tient Depart­ment at Port Lin­coln Hos­pi­tal. In this role, you will pro­vide high-qual­i­ty, per­son-cen­tred nurs­ing care under the direc­tion and super­vi­sion of a Reg­is­tered Nurse, ensur­ing best prac­tice stan­dards are met for all patients.

As part of a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team, you will assist with patient assess­ments, treat­ments, and edu­ca­tion while main­tain­ing accu­rate doc­u­men­ta­tion and sup­port­ing qual­i­ty improve­ment ini­tia­tives. About You

You will have:

  • Cur­rent reg­is­tra­tion (or eli­gi­bil­i­ty) with the Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Australia.
  • Effec­tive com­mu­ni­ca­tion and team­work skills.
  • The abil­i­ty to pro­vide com­pas­sion­ate, per­son-cen­tred care in a busy out­pa­tient setting.
  • Com­mit­ment to ongo­ing pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment and main­tain­ing high stan­dards of practice.

Port Lin­coln Hos­pi­tal is the largest hos­pi­tal in the Eyre and Far North, with 48 beds, and pro­vides a range of ser­vices includ­ing Emer­gency, obstetrics/​maternity, sur­gi­cal, gen­er­al med­i­cine, renal dial­y­sis, medi­um lev­el chemother­a­py, phar­ma­cy, den­tal and Allied Health.
