🩺 About the role

This role enables you to care for an allo­cat­ed case­load of women, with the sup­port and col­lab­o­ra­tion of oth­er health care providers with­in the Mid­wifery Group Prac­tice and Mater­ni­ty ser­vice at the Weipa Inte­grat­ed Health Ser­vice and the sur­round­ing remote com­mu­ni­ties. Work­ing in col­lab­o­ra­tion with our health part­ners, includ­ing Abo­rig­i­nal and Tor­res Strait Islander health prac­ti­tion­ers, Health Work­ers and Allied Health Clinicians. 

You’ll pro­vide high-qual­i­ty, woman-cen­tred mater­ni­ty care across the con­tin­u­um — ante­na­tal, birthing, and post­na­tal. Work­ing as part of a small but ded­i­cat­ed mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team, you’ll enjoy auton­o­my, scope, and gen­uine pro­fes­sion­al satisfaction.
