Dirran­ban­di is a des­ig­nat­ed Remote Area Nurs­ing Incen­tive Pack­age (RANIP) site in accor­dance with the Nurs­es and Mid­wives (Queens­land Health) Award – State 2015. This attracts addi­tion­al enti­tle­ments which may include:

• An annu­al iso­la­tion bonus paid annually!
• Return air­fares to the near­est provin­cial city in con­junc­tion with leave!
• Addi­tion­al annu­al leave per annum!

With a 13 bed Mul­ti­pur­pose Health Ser­vice and Med­ical Cen­tre, the team at Dirran­ban­di are pas­sion­ate about their town and their com­mu­ni­ty. There is a real sense of belong­ing here. Nurs­ing in the rur­al clin­i­cal set­ting sees nurs­es expand their knowl­edge and skills and be ready to deliv­er care to a wide range of acute, chron­ic and emer­gency presentations.
