  • Salary: $74,831 — $102,103 p.a. (Pro-rata) — RN/M1 + Super­an­nu­a­tion and Salary Sac­ri­fice Benefits
  • Mul­ti­ple Ongo­ing posi­tions avail­able: Full Time & Part Time (part time hours to be nego­ti­at­ed), work­ing over a 7 day roster

As a Reg­is­tered Nurse in Aged Care, you’ll pro­vide vital nurs­ing ser­vices in a sup­port­ive health ser­vice envi­ron­ment. This role offers an excit­ing oppor­tu­ni­ty for you to grow from a novice prac­ti­tion­er to a pro­fi­cient pro­fes­sion­al, enhanc­ing your skills and knowl­edge through con­tin­u­ous devel­op­ment and hands-on expe­ri­ence. Key Respon­si­bil­i­ties:

  • Assess indi­vid­ual patient needs and coor­di­nate ser­vice deliv­ery from var­i­ous options, includ­ing oth­er dis­ci­plines or agencies.
  • Pro­vide direct, per­son-cen­tered nurs­ing care and case man­age­ment on a shift-by-shift basis, gain­ing increas­ing autonomy.
  • Plan and coor­di­nate ser­vices with oth­er dis­ci­plines to meet indi­vid­ual health care needs.
  • Par­tic­i­pate in qual­i­ty improve­ment ini­tia­tives to enhance patient safe­ty and min­imise risks.
  • Serve as ward/​team leader as need­ed, sup­port­ing staff and coor­di­nat­ing patient care.
  • Con­tribute to pro­ce­dures for man­ag­ing chal­leng­ing behav­iours effectively.

What We’re Look­ing For:

  • Must be reg­is­tered or eli­gi­ble for reg­is­tra­tion as a Nurse with the Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Aus­tralia and who holds, or who is eli­gi­ble to hold, a cur­rent prac­tic­ing certificate.
  • Proven abil­i­ty to demon­strate com­pe­tence in nurs­ing prac­tice, adher­ing to the rel­e­vant stan­dards of care.
  • Expe­ri­enced in using com­put­er soft­ware pack­ages, includ­ing Microsoft Word and Excel.
