As a Reg­is­tered Nurse – Renal Dial­y­sis with Eyre and Far North Local Health Net­work, you will pro­vide high-qual­i­ty nurs­ing care to patients requir­ing haemodial­y­sis and haemodi­afil­tra­tion. Work­ing in a sup­port­ive, pro­fes­sion­al envi­ron­ment, you will devel­op from a novice prac­ti­tion­er to a pro­fi­cient clin­i­cian through con­tin­u­ous learn­ing, expe­ri­ence, and development.

You’ll be respon­si­ble for your own stan­dards of care and for the del­e­ga­tion of appro­pri­ate tasks to oth­ers. This is a role where your clin­i­cal skills and empa­thy can tru­ly improve qual­i­ty of life for peo­ple man­ag­ing long-term renal conditions.

What We’re Look­ing For:

  • Reg­is­tered or eli­gi­ble for reg­is­tra­tion as a Nurse/​Midwife with the Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Aus­tralia and who holds, or who is eli­gi­ble to hold, a cur­rent prac­tic­ing certificate.
  • Must be endorsed and cre­den­tialled in order to pre­scribe med­ica­tions or to order diag­nos­tics to the scope and con­text of their practice.
  • Demon­strat­ed com­pe­tence in the rel­e­vant area of nurs­ing prac­tice in accor­dance with the appro­pri­ate stan­dards of practice.
  • Expe­ri­ence in the use of com­put­er pack­ages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
