  • Deliv­er safe, per­son-cen­tred nurs­ing care to patients and families. 
  • Col­lab­o­rate with mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary teams to achieve pos­i­tive health outcomes. 
  • Con­tribute to con­tin­u­ous improve­ment, edu­ca­tion, and pro­fes­sion­al prac­tice development. 
  • Pro­vide guid­ance and sup­port to stu­dents, grad­u­ates, and less expe­ri­enced staff.

About You

You will be:

  • A reg­is­tered nurse (or eli­gi­ble for reg­is­tra­tion) with the Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Australia. 
  • Com­mit­ted to deliv­er­ing com­pas­sion­ate, cul­tur­al­ly safe, and high-qual­i­ty care.

The Eyre and Far North Local Health Net­work (EFNL­HN) is respon­si­ble for the plan­ning and deliv­ery of hos­pi­tal and health ser­vices over 337,626 square kilo­me­tres, tak­ing in the Eyre Penin­su­la, west­ern part of South Aus­tralia and north to Coober Pedy. Ser­vices include acute care, med­ical, acci­dent and emer­gency, surgery, birthing and mid­wifery, spe­cial­ist con­sul­tan­cy, renal dial­y­sis, chemother­a­py, trans­fu­sions, reha­bil­i­ta­tion, res­i­den­tial and com­mu­ni­ty aged care, respite care, tran­si­tion­al care pack­ages, Abo­rig­i­nal health, men­tal health, allied health, com­mu­ni­ty health, com­mu­ni­ty nurs­ing, pal­lia­tive care, com­mu­ni­ty home sup­port pack­ages and home modifications.

Port Lin­coln Hos­pi­tal is the largest hos­pi­tal in the Eyre and Far North, with 48 beds, and pro­vides a range of ser­vices includ­ing Emer­gency, obstetrics/​maternity, sur­gi­cal, gen­er­al med­i­cine, renal dial­y­sis, medi­um lev­el chemother­a­py, phar­ma­cy, den­tal and Allied Health.
