🩺 About the Role

You’ll work in pri­ma­ry health­care set­tings across rur­al and remote com­mu­ni­ties, using your emer­gency back­ground to deliv­er holis­tic care, respond to acute pre­sen­ta­tions, and sup­port chron­ic dis­ease man­age­ment. This is a sup­port­ed path­way into Remote Area Nurs­ing — per­fect for emer­gency nurs­es ready to expand their scope.

✅ What You’ll Need

• Cur­rent, unre­strict­ed AHPRA reg­is­tra­tion

• Strong emer­gency care experience

• Man­u­al driver’s licence

• Cur­rent Basic Life Sup­port (BLS) & Advanced Life Sup­port (ALS)

• Work­ing towards or cer­ti­fied in: Pae­di­atric Advanced Life Sup­port (PALS), Remote Emer­gency Care (REC) (or TNCC), Mater­ni­ty Emer­gency Care (MEC), Immu­nis­er provider & phar­ma­cother­a­peu­tics (or equiv­a­lent)

• Nurs­ing degree and min­i­mum 5 years clin­i­cal expe­ri­ence as a Reg­is­tered Nurse in Australia

• Post-grad qual­i­fi­ca­tions (desir­able)

• Expe­ri­ence in Aus­tralian pri­ma­ry health­care or rur­al clin­ics (high­ly desirable)
