About BRAMS
Broome Region­al Abo­rig­i­nal Med­ical Ser­vice (BRAMS) is an Abo­rig­i­nal Com­mu­ni­ty Con­trolled Health Ser­vice that has been deliv­er­ing com­pre­hen­sive, cul­tur­al­ly safe pri­ma­ry health care to the Broome com­mu­ni­ty for over 45 years.

Job Description

About the Role
The role is respon­si­ble for risk assess­ment under the MARAM frame­work, indi­vid­u­alised sup­port plan­ning, and coor­di­na­tion of wrap­around ser­vices. The Prac­ti­tion­er will over­see com­plex cas­es, pro­vide clin­i­cal super­vi­sion and men­tor­ing to Fam­i­ly and Domes­tic Vio­lence Case Work­ers, and deliv­er spe­cial­ist sec­ondary con­sul­ta­tion to strength­en respons­es across BRAMS and with exter­nal partners.

  • Rel­e­vant ter­tiary qual­i­fi­ca­tion in social work, psy­chol­o­gy, coun­selling, com­mu­ni­ty ser­vices or a relat­ed field.
  • Demon­strat­ed spe­cial­ist knowl­edge and expe­ri­ence in fam­i­ly and domes­tic vio­lence prac­tice, includ­ing use of the MARAM framework.
  • Expe­ri­ence pro­vid­ing holis­tic case man­age­ment and client-led support.
  • Demon­strat­ed abil­i­ty to pro­vide clin­i­cal super­vi­sion, men­tor­ing, and sec­ondary consultation.
  • Strong under­stand­ing of trau­ma-informed and cul­tur­al­ly safe prac­tice, par­tic­u­lar­ly in work­ing with Abo­rig­i­nal peo­ple, fam­i­lies and communities.
