About us
The Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) has been a vital part of the Broome community for over 45 years. As the first remote Aboriginal Medical Service in Western Australia, BRAMS delivers culturally responsive health care, social and emotional wellbeing services, and NDIS support to over 6,500 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people each year.

About the role
This exciting opportunity allows you to lead the delivery of flexible and timely Speech therapy services in BRAMS’ Aged and Disability services. You’ll focus on optimising independence, enhancing health and wellbeing, and improving the quality of life for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to BRAMS’ expanding community services and help shape the future of Speech therapy care in our organisation.
About you
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Speech Pathologist who holds current AHPRA registration. Candidates with experience in aged care, disability services, or working with Aboriginal communities are encouraged to apply, though this is not essential.
Key attributes:
- A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to independently manage a workload and build productive relationships.
- Experience in clinical management systems and a commitment to culturally responsive care.
