Key Respon­si­bil­i­ties

• Safe­ly trans­fer, posi­tion, and move patients before, dur­ing, and after procedures
• Pre­pare oper­at­ing the­atres with equip­ment, fur­ni­ture, and supplies
• Trans­port patients, equip­ment, and spec­i­mens across hos­pi­tal areas
• Main­tain clean­li­ness and infec­tion con­trol stan­dards with­in theatres
• Assist staff with instru­ments, equip­ment, and emer­gency preparation
• Dis­pose of clin­i­cal waste and man­age linen accord­ing to protocols
• Sup­port restock­ing and equip­ment checks

What We’re Look­ing For

• Cer­tifi­cate III in Health Ser­vices Assis­tance (or equivalent)
• Team play­er with strong com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills
• Phys­i­cal­ly fit and con­fi­dent with man­u­al han­dling tasks
• Atten­tion to detail with focus on safe­ty and infec­tion control
• Pre­vi­ous hos­pi­tal order­ly or the­atre expe­ri­ence desirable
