Broome Region­al Abo­rig­i­nal Med­ical Ser­vice (BRAMS) is an Abo­rig­i­nal Com­mu­ni­ty Con­trolled Health Ser­vice that has been deliv­er­ing com­pre­hen­sive, cul­tur­al­ly safe pri­ma­ry health care to the Broome com­mu­ni­ty for over 45 years.

About the Role
This role is respon­si­ble for man­ag­ing staff, over­see­ing com­plex case man­age­ment, and coor­di­nat­ing mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary respons­es to ensure high-qual­i­ty, cul­tur­al­ly safe and trau­ma-informed services.

The Pro­gram Man­ag­er will super­vise and sup­port staff, pro­vide lead­er­ship in pro­gram deliv­ery, facil­i­tate case reviews and debrief­in­gs, and con­tribute to clin­i­cal gov­er­nance and qual­i­ty improve­ment across BRAMS.

About you

  • Rel­e­vant ter­tiary qual­i­fi­ca­tion in social work, psy­chol­o­gy, com­mu­ni­ty ser­vices, or a relat­ed field.
  • Min­i­mum of two years’ expe­ri­ence in a man­age­ment or lead­er­ship role, includ­ing direct staff supervision.
  • Demon­strat­ed expe­ri­ence in pro­gram man­age­ment with­in well­be­ing, fam­i­ly vio­lence, or relat­ed areas.
  • Strong knowl­edge of fam­i­ly vio­lence frame­works and trau­ma-informed, cul­tur­al­ly safe practice.
  • Expe­ri­ence sup­port­ing staff through super­vi­sion, men­tor­ing, and work­force development.
  • Strong under­stand­ing of Abo­rig­i­nal health, well­be­ing, and com­mu­ni­ty contexts.
  • Excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­tion, stake­hold­er engage­ment, and col­lab­o­ra­tion skills.
