About the Role

As a Work­force Sup­port Coor­di­na­tor, you will play a piv­otal role in strength­en­ing the rur­al and remote health work­force. You’ll lead ini­tia­tives that attract, sup­port, and retain health­care pro­fes­sion­als, deliv­er­ing pro­grams that make a real dif­fer­ence to clin­i­cians and communities.

Key respon­si­bil­i­ties include:

  • Build­ing and main­tain­ing rela­tion­ships with health organ­i­sa­tions, uni­ver­si­ties, and stakeholders.
  • Coor­di­nat­ing schol­ar­ships, grants, men­tor­ing, and work­force path­way initiatives.
  • Pro­mot­ing and deliv­er­ing pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment pro­grams (includ­ing webi­na­rs, e‑learning, and events).
  • Rep­re­sent­ing CRANAplus and the remote health work­force in forums, sub­mis­sions, and conferences.
  • Sup­port­ing cul­tur­al­ly safe, inclu­sive, and col­lab­o­ra­tive prac­tices across our work

About you

We’re look­ing for a dynam­ic and moti­vat­ed pro­fes­sion­al who brings:

  • Cur­rent AHPRA reg­is­tra­tion as a Nurse (with or with­out Midwifery).
  • Strong expe­ri­ence in rur­al and remote health nursing.
  • Back­ground in work­force devel­op­ment, project man­age­ment, or pro­gram delivery.
  • Excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­tion, stake­hold­er engage­ment, and rela­tion­ship-build­ing skills.
  • Com­mit­ment to cul­tur­al­ly safe prac­tice and work­ing respect­ful­ly with diverse communities.
  • Abil­i­ty to man­age com­pet­ing pri­or­i­ties with ini­tia­tive and innovation.

Post­grad­u­ate qual­i­fi­ca­tions in Nurs­ing, Pri­ma­ry Health Care, or Pub­lic Health will be high­ly regarded.
