Finan­cial Sup­port for Place­ment (UniSA)

The UniSA Depart­ment of Rur­al Health can pro­vide finan­cial sup­port to domes­tic allied health and nurs­ing stu­dents under­tak­ing a rur­al place­ment with­in the state for two weeks or longer, with increas­ing sup­port for more remote loca­tions. Find out more.

Pro­fes­sion­al Development

Health Work­force Schol­ar­ship Pro­gram (HWSP) (through Rur­al Doc­tors Work­force SA)

If you are an eli­gi­ble health care pro­fes­sion­al work­ing in pri­ma­ry health care in rur­al or remote South Aus­tralia, you can apply for a grant of up to $10,000 per year for up to two years to increase clin­i­cal skills and scope of prac­tice through train­ing or study. Exam­ples of activ­i­ties that are sup­port­ed by this Pro­gram include post-grad­u­ate stud­ies such as a post-grad­u­ate cer­tifi­cate, post-grad­u­ate diplo­ma, Mas­ter or PhD, includ­ing on-line study and con­fer­ences, work­shops, webi­na­rs, and cours­es, includ­ing on-line activ­i­ties. Find out more.

Robyn Parkes Post­grad­u­ate Nurs­ing Grant (UniSA)

The grant will be offered to exter­nal post­grad­u­ate nurs­ing stu­dents (Mas­ter of Nurs­ing and Grad­u­ate Cer­tifi­cate in Nurs­ing) from rur­al or iso­lat­ed areas who are enrolled full-time or part-time. The grant will pro­vide finan­cial assis­tance for the costs asso­ci­at­ed with under­tak­ing post­grad­u­ate study. Find out more.
